Asian UBE Meet 2026 FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

What is Asian UBE Meet 2026?

Asian UBE Meet 2026 is the 2nd edition of Asia’s only international conference dedicated entirely to Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) — a minimally invasive spine surgery technique. The conference is held on 26–27 September 2026 at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences Kolkata, and is officially endorsed by ISUBE — the International Society of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy.

UBE is a minimally invasive spine surgery technique that uses two separate portals — one for the endoscope and one for the surgical instruments. This approach provides excellent visualisation with minimal tissue disruption, making it one of the fastest-growing techniques in modern spine surgery globally.

The conference is designed for spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, and orthopaedic surgeons at all levels — from residents and fellows learning UBE for the first time to senior consultants refining advanced technique. Both national and international delegates are welcome.
